We are seeking a talented and passionate Research Engineer specializing in 3D Computer Vision, with a required focus on manipulating 3D point clouds.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize machine learning algorithms tailored for 3D point cloud processing, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and robustness.
  • Develop innovative techniques for 3D point cloud manipulation, including alignment, registration, segmentation, classification, and transformation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into our products.
  • Stay informed of the latest advancements in machine learning and 3D data processing, contributing novel ideas and approaches to tackle complex challenges.
  • Analyze and optimize the performance of machine learning models for scalability and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Engineer or equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field with a focus on machine learning and 3D data processing.
  • Proven experience in 3D point cloud processing and manipulation.
  • Strong background in machine learning algorithm development, particularly related to 3D applications.
  • Understanding and knowledge of algorithms based on mathematical methods.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python and C++, with experience in relevant machine learning and 3D libraries/frameworks.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-reliant, innovative spirit, and a team player.
  • Good proficiency in English.

Appreciated skills:

  • Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Machine Learning, Computer Vision or a related field.
  • Experience in developing production-ready code, including version control, clean code practices, and unit testing.
  • Familiarity with 3D computer graphics and computational geometry.

Remuneration according to profile. Work permit in France is mandatory. Working remotely from anywhere in France is possible but hybrid is preferred.
