Cintoo is a fast-growing start-up developing a SaaS platform named Cintoo Cloud, at the convergence of Reality Capture and Digital Twins. We are searching for flexible go-getters who welcome the challenge of meeting the needs of a fast-growing business. Cintoo Cloud improves the performance and efficiency with a complete cloud-based, collaborative Scan & BIM platform to manage and distribute Reality Capture data, such as laser scans, with no compromise on accuracy. To date over 400 companies and 50,000 users in 40 countries have uploaded over 3 hundred square kilometers on active projects, across hundreds of sites in many countries spanning industries such as manufacturing, construction and energy.

We are seeking, for a permanent position (CDI), a talented and passionate software development engineer, specialised in modern backend.

  • Design, develop and maintain the Cintoo Cloud backend application, which enables the management, visualization and sharing of 3D projects.
  • Define the specifications of this application in collaboration with Quality Assurance, Product Management and Infrastructure teams.
  • Ensure the application remains up to date with the latest web standards and security requirements; and is developed with the best software engineering practices.
  • Analyze and optimize the performance of the application to ensure the best user experience.


  • Already knows how to code in at least one language and is willing to learn and to grow. 
  • Motivated to rewrite PHP code into Kotlin and develop new features in Kotlin on Quarkus. 
  • Learn to investigate and fix both in PHP and in Kotlin. 
  • Rigorous development methods (notably test-driven development and clean code architecture) and passion for beautiful code (clean code).
  • Knowledge of secure web development.
  • Knowledge of relational database (like MySQL).
  • Self-reliance, innovative spirit, team player.
  • Willing to learn and progress.
  • Good level of written English and spoken French.
  • Work permit for France.

Optional desired skills:

  • Docker.

We are based in Sophia-Antipolis (South of France, 300 days of sunshine per year, great place to be!). Working remotely from anywhere in France is possible.
