C++ Software Engineer

Cintoo is a fast-growing start-up, based in France and US, developing a SaaS platform at the convergence of Reality Capture and Digital Twins. We are searching for flexible go-getters who welcome the challenge of meeting the needs of a fast-growing business. Cintoo Cloud improves the performance and efficiency with a complete cloud-based, collaborative Scan & BIM platform to manage and distribute Reality Capture data, such as laser scans, with no compromise on accuracy. To date over 400 companies and 50,000 users in 40 countries have uploaded over 3 hundred square kilometers on active projects, across hundreds of sites in many countries spanning industries such as manufacturing, construction and energy.

We are seeking, for a permanent position (CDI), a talented and passionate software development engineer, specialised in C++.

You will join a start-up working on cutting-edge technologies with a tremendous growth perspective and a dynamic and innovative atmosphere: you will have fun!


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain our applications (distribution of 3D data and metadata).
  • Ensure these applications operate seamlessly and reliably.
  • Ensure these applications can be easily maintained and upgraded, in the long term.
  • Collaborate with the other developers to ship coherent and robust products.


Requirements:

  • Software development master's degree or equivalent experience. 
  • Good knowledge of modern C++ (C++17), with at least 2 years of professional experience. 
  • Rigorous development methods (notably TDD) and passion for beautiful code (clean code). 
  • Knowledge of software architecture elements.
  • Willing to learn and progress.
  • Self-reliance, innovative spirit, team player.
  • Good level of written English and oral French.
  • Work permit for France.


Optional skills:

  • Experience in development on Linux.
  • Knowledge of Python.
  • Knowledge and experience in computer vision or image processing.
  • Experience in Windows applications development.
  • Experience in development and optimisation of high-performance software.
  • Experience in development of libraries and API.


We are based in Sophia-Antipolis (South of France, 300 days of sunshine per year, great place to be!). Working remotely from anywhere in France is possible.
