We are seeking a talented and passionate Point Cloud Processing Specialist for a permanent position (CDI). 


Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize algorithms for point clouds alignment and registration, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and robustness.
  • Design and develop techniques for point cloud segmentation, denoising and simplification.
  • Analyse and optimize the performance of these solutions.
  • Collaborate with the other developers to deliver coherent and robust products.
  • Stay informed of the latest advancements in the field of 3D data processing, contributing innovative ideas and approaches to address complex challenges.


Requirements:

  • Engineer or equivalent degree in Computer Graphics or a related field with a focus on 3D data processing and point cloud processing.
  • Strong background in algorithm development, particularly in the context of point cloud transformation and mesh processing. 
  • Proficient in programming languages, especially C++ and Python.
  • Familiarity with relevant libraries, frameworks, and tools in the field of 3D computer graphics and computational geometry.
  • Willing to learn and progress.
  • Self-reliance, innovative spirit, team player.
  • Good level in English.


Optional skills:

  • Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Computer Graphics or a related field.
  • Understanding and knowledge of algorithms founded on mathematical methods.
  • Experience in developing production ready code (versioning, clean code, unit tests, etc.).

Remuneration according to profile. Work permit in France is mandatory. Working remotely from anywhere in France is possible but hybrid is preferred.
